Honors 101I: Research Today: Sources, Tools, and Strategies
Research is a process of exploration, experimentation, and discovery. This course is designed to help you engage with this process and prepare you for a research-intensive honors thesis. You will collaborate with peers, mentors, and experts across the UCLA campus as you develop your own approach to research.

Research Practice 110A: Careers in Libraries & Archives
In this course, we will learn about the wide variety of careers in libraries and archives and be introduced to the career pathways of various professionals. We’ll briefly discuss professional issues in these fields especially in relation to recruitment and retention of individuals in these professions. While this course will discuss careers in a variety of locations and types of libraries and archives, we will lean heavily on the outstanding professionals at UCLA. As a result, this course will have a stronger focus on careers in academic spaces.
